Restart when you’re ready
Home Assistant needs a restart to load the helpers. It may briefly stop running your automations. When it is convenient, open Settings → System, use the power menu, and choose Restart Home Assistant. Keep this page open.

I don’t see that / I need help
A restart is different from resetting or reinstalling. If it takes longer than usual, wait and check Home Assistant before trying again. We have not automatically restarted anything.
